Anna Harrison First Spouse Gold Coin Auctions
Anna Harrison coin was the ninth release of First Spouse Gold Coin series created to honor the President’s spouses. It also represented the first release for 2009. It was on sale on March 5, 2009 over at the United states Mint.
The obverse which was designed by Donna Weaver and sculpted by Joseph Menna, portrays Anna Harrison. She was the First Lady for thirty days in 1831 during the short Presidency of her husband William Henry Harrison. The obverse bears several inscriptions including the “Anna Harrison”, “In God We Trust”, “Liberty”, the order of the Presidency “9th”, the year of the Presidential term “1841″, and the mintage date “2009″.
